Looking to offer players more developmental opportunities, the Windsor Soccer Club has decided to join Windsor TFC. "There's got to be one common entity for kids to go to and this was the best path," said WSC president Paul Bartolo.
WSC's competitive program will now be recognized as the Windsor TFC Fury and expose members to resources that'll help improve their soccer skill and IQ, "Opportunity for players and coaches to work with Windsor TFC and Toronto FC who are both at a higher level," said Bartolo.
The agreement gives players a chance to participate in free camps and indirectly benefit house league players through player visits and other activities.
The partnership begins next season and comes on the heels of the Amherstburg Soccer Club merger.
