The Lakeshore Canadiens will put their 23-game win streak to the test tonight in Essex against the 73's. Lakeshore leads the Provincial Junior Hockey League with 27 wins and 54 points in 30 games. Essex is one point behind having played an extra game. The Canadiens haven't lost a game since October 17th when they dropped a 4-1 decision in Essex.
The London Nationals are at the top of the GOJHL's Western Conference with a three point lead over LaSalle and St. Mary's. The Vipers have a game in hand heading into Wednesday's matchup at Western Fairgrounds against the Nats. The Leamington Flyers are having a great first season in the OJHL. They are tied for 4th overall in the league with 24 wins and 52 points. The Flyers are third in the West Conference and are trying to catch 2nd place Milton. Leamington hosts the Pickering Panthers Thursday night at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre.
