Tecumseh opens sr. men's baseball national championship

The town of Tecumseh will be busy this weekend with the Cornfest and Sr. Men's Baseball Championships. The opening ceremony for the baseball championships is Wednesday night at 6:30 at the newly renovated Bert Lacasse Park.

A homerun derby follows at 7pm.

Competition begins in earnest Thursday with the host team, the Tecumseh Thunder, playing the British Columbia champions at 7pm. They then play Newfoundland and Labrador Friday at 1pm followed by Quebec at 7pm. Their first three games are at Bert Lacasse Park.
