Former Lancer basketball standout Greg Surmacz is back in Windsor making a difference on a couple of fronts. He recently signed on to help the men's basketball team in 2022 and has started a new mental health initiative called Get Back 2U.

Surmacz helped lead the Lancers to a provincial championship in 2007 beating perrenial powerhouse Carleton in front of a packed house at the St. Denis Centre. He then went on to enjoy a 12-year professional career, which included one season with the Windsor Express.

Surmacz talks about his recent retirement and his new initiative in this video brought to you by Fred's Farm Fresh.
