The Rose City United 14U red team is enjoying a successful season so far. They recently won the Gold Division championship at the President's Day Challenge in Detroit. "Our girls are an absolute pleasure to coach, as they work incredibly hard at practice and relentlessly compete in every match they play." Head coach Mark Drouillard told Powerplay Sports.

Nine of the twelve athletes are playing club volleyball for the first time and as a group have won three of the five tournaments they've entered. Rose City United won two golds in Ontario, a gold in Detroit, a silver in Indiana and finished 6th at a tournament in Leamington facing some of the top teams in the province.
"They play together, for each other, and are all incredibly close," Drouillard said. "We have an unbelievable parent group who are supportive and enthusiastic. Our 14U team has, in a very short period of time, experienced the most success a Rose City team has ever had. This team is special."
Rose City will play in two American tournaments after the March Break before the provincial championships in April.
