Spits remain in CHL Top-10

No movement in the CHL Top-10 with every team in the same spot they were in after Week 19, including the Windsor Spitfires at #10.

The Spits earned five of six possible points to secure their berth in the playoffs. Brett Harrison scored the overtime winner in a 6-5 win over Flint last Thursday.

Jacob Maillet got the job done in overtime against Mississauga Saturday in a 3-2 over the Steelheads.

Windsor lost 4-3 in overtime on the road to the London Knights Sunday.

Windsor leads the CHL in goals scored this season with 262. Halifax has dented the twine 261 times and have played one less game than the Spits.

Matthew Maggio is 5th in the CHL with 88 points.

The Spits are currently tied with the Knights for top spot in the Western Conference.

They'll hit the road this weekend to face Peterborough (#4 in the east) Thursday, Ottawa (#1 in the east) Friday and 8th seed Kingston Sunday before returning home to face London on March 2nd.
