This is not the way I thought this series would start. Kitchener finished 2nd overall in the OHL with 47 wins and 100 points. Windsor was third with 45 wins and 96 points. It was supposed to be a tight series but for the second game in a row the Spits beat the Rangers 5-1. Windsor now has a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference semi-final series. "So proud of how these guys have bought into defence first," Head coach Greg Walters said. "Really really proud of them."

Ryan Abraham led the charge with two goals as Windsor scored a pair on the powerplay taking advantage of some questionable antics by Kitchener players which Walters discusses in the post game coverage.

The series now shifts to Kitchener for game 3 Monday night and game 4 Wednesday. If necessary, game 5 will be in Windsor Friday.
