Spits clean out and head into off-season

The Windsor Spitfires are still numb from the feeling of being out of the playoffs. "Now that we're here and everybody's getting ready to leave it feels real now." said forward Noah Morneau.

The Spits bowed out Thursday in Kitchener and became the first conference champ to be swept out of the first round by an 8th seed. "It's just a tough way to finish this year." Oliver Peer said.


As the number one seed, a deeper run was expected but now it's time to forget about what went wrong. Players like rookie defenceman Carson Woodall head into the off-season looking forward and not behind. Hear from him, Peer and Morneau in the video below.
