Spence helps Lancers dominate T'Wolves

Game two in the best-of-three OUA West Division playoffs series between Windsor and Lakehead was a complete reversal of the opener as the Lancers dominated the Thunderwolves 7-2.

Grant Spence led the way with a goal and two assists as Windsor advances to the West Division semi-finals. Goaltender Nathan Torchia had an easy night compared to game one stopping 35 of 37 shots. He faced a barrage in the opener turning aside 56 shots in a 3-2 overtime win Wednesday.

Game 2 was tied at two early in the second when Dominic Mufarreh handcuffed Lakehead goalie Max Wright who was pulled after the Lancers took the lead. It was the first of five unanswered goals as Windsor knocks out Lakehead for the second straight year.

Check out the highlights including a pretty tic tac toe play and an official taken down to the ice.
