The St. Clair College women's volleyball team is putting their 9-0 record on the line against Humber Saturday afternoon as the (10-0) Hawks visit the Sportsplex looking to stay undefeated. "This match up is often the one everyone comes out to support because it decides who goes home undefeated, with the 2 best teams in the league." said Saints head coach Julie-Ann Milling.
Despite having played one less match, the Saints have 39 more kills than the Hawks but Humber has been strong at the service line dropping 14 more aces. St. Clair leads the OCAA in points scored per set with an average of 17.4 followed by Humber at 17.3.
"We are in a very good spot right now to be playing some of our best volleyball for the first half of the season." Milling said.
Geneva Huisman is 4th in the OCAA with 3.41 kills per set while Emma Clements leads the league with 8.30 assists per set.
"Our team has been really unique this year where people are stepping up into different roles and that’s going to help us with this match."
Game time is set for 2pm followed by the men at 4pm. The Saints close out the semester Sunday against 1-8 Sheridan.
