Tyler Angle fittingly scored the game winner to lead the Windsor Spitfires to a 2-1 win over the Erie Otters. Angle took a cross-checking penalty near the Otters net putting Windsor down two men at the 10:46 mark of the third. Less than two minutes after killing off the 5-3 Angle came through with some heroics. Cole Purboo was at the side of the Erie net when he took a wide pass from Ruben Rafkin. A failed shot led to a rebound that Angle wasted no time burying with just over five minutes left. Luke Boka scored to tie the game earlier in the third as Windsor outshot the visitors 36-20.
The Spits travel to Hamilton Friday before a rematch in Erie Saturday night. Click video to see Angle's goal and interviews, brought to you by http://www.stclaircollege.ca/alumni/
