As we ramp up for another summer of golf it has been announced that the premiere junior golf tour in our region will have a new name. The Unico Primo Junior Golf Tour will replace the Jamieson Junior Golf Tour.

"I think it's going to be a great partnership," said tour director Dan Demarco. "They're very community oriented and also have a keen interest in golf and youth development so it lines up with our mission statement very well and we're really looking forward to working with them."

The tour is open to golfers between the ages of 13-22 and features some of the best junior players in the region.

Bennett Brazier and Hannah Butzer won the junior titles last summer while Shawn Sehra and Hannah Meloche took the collegiate division.

The tour kicks off July 8th at Seven Lakes. Click link to see the full schedule. Jamieson Junior Golf Tour (jamiesonjuniortour.ca)
