London beats LaSalle in overtime

Michael Kopcok scored his third of the playoffs at 10:00 of overtime to give the London Nationals a 2-1 win over the Vipers in LaSalle Tuesday night.

LaSalle took a 1-0 at 5:31 of the second period as Nathan Gaymes scored his first of the playoffs.

Peter Fagan replied with his first of the post-season on the powerplay at 13:29 of the third.

Both teams rang the post late in regulation before sending the game into overtime. LaSalle had a few chances early in the overtime but could not find the back of the net. Kopcok's goal gives the Nats a 3-1 series lead and a chance to advance to the Western Conference final with a win Wednesday night at home.
