Lakeshore takes command of Stobbs final

The Lakeshore Canadiens have the PJHL’s regular season champs on the brink of elimination after Sunday night’s 6-2 over Essex.

Eric Bisson broke a 2-2 tie at 19:25 of the second period and added an insurance goal in the third putting Lakeshore in a position to close out the 73’s. Jack Fuerth had a goal and an assist for the 73’s while Bryce Scarlett dished off three assists for the Canadiens. Nick Bolton made 32 saves for the Habs.

Essex, who lost goaltender Cavan McCabe in game 3, we’re forced to use their AP goalie Cristian Green after starter Adrian McBride left the game in the third.

Game 5 is in Essex Tuesday night.
