Lakeshore in driver's seat vs Thamesford (with video)

Updated: Apr 14, 2024

The shots were even at 33 but the scoreboard was heavily tilted in favour of the home town Lakeshore Canadiens as they dumped Thamesford 6-0 in game three of the PJHL's Western Conference Sunday night.

"It's good to get the early lead in the series and hopefully we can close it out on Tuesday there." said Trevor Larue who led the way with a pair of goals and two assists.

Nick Bolton turned aside every shot he faced to earn the shutout. "I got defencemen who save me when I need it," Bolton said about his defencemen who were strong on the puck late in the game to help preserve the shutout. "They lock it down. They did a really good job. A lot of guys blocked a lot of shots."

Lakeshore has a 3-0 series lead over the Trojans heading back to Thamesford for a chance to close out the series Tuesday.
