Windsor Clippers head coach Jerry Kavanaugh felt the cancellation of the 2020 season was inevitable. "Trying to cram a shortened season into a few weeks was going to be difficult" said Kavanaugh.
The Ontario Jr. B Lacrosse League had contemplated various start dates but in the end the decision was "unavoidable" according to the league.
Kavanaugh is now turning his attention to next season, "Missing an entire season is not going to be easy, but it'll be worth it if guys focus turns to next season now".
