Saints fall short vs Red Deer
Sein Furuyama scored two second half goals to power the hometown Red Deer Quees to the CCAA bronze meda. They beat St. Clair 2-1. Jessica Doll opened the scoring when her shot was deflected in by a Red Deer player.

Lajeunesse advances to SWOSSA
Grade 10 standout Brielle Poirier dropped 26 points to lead Lajeunesse to a 71-15 win over UMEI. Arianna Wilson chipped in 13 as the Lions advance and travel to Dresden November 13th at 6:30pm to face Lambton Kent.

Holy Names beats Herman for the AAA title
Holy Names broke open a 1-0 lead scoring three touchdowns for a 24-1 halftime lead. Big plays led to goal line scores. Both teams exchanged late game touchdowns as the Knights overcome disappointments of the past to advance.

Lajeunesse wins 'A' volleyball title
The Lajeunesse Lions defeated Maranatha 3-0 to claim the WECSSAA 'A' championship. They will now host SWOSSA Wednesday November 12th at 5pm.

Saints advance to the Bronze medal game
A thrilling shootout win for St. Clair as keeper Scotlyn Fick sends the Saints to the Bronze medal game. They beat the VIU Mariners to advance. Natalie Kersey was St. Clair's player of the game. Check out the video and audio from head coach Steve Vagnini.

Greentree leads Spits to victory over Kingston
Liam Greentree had a goal and two assists as the Windsor Spitfires shutout Kingston 3-0 Thursday night. Goaltender Joey Costanzo picked up his third shutout of the season and his career 81st victory. Windsor will host Brampton Saturday night. Go to the contest portion of our website and enter for your chance to win a pair of tickets to that game.

Hunter wins third straight
The Leamington Flyers got back in the win column Thursday night at home beating Oakville 5-1. Brendan Cooke scored a pair of goals while goaltender Gannon Hunter won his third straight in net turning aside 19 shots. Leamington is at Buffalo Sunday night before returning home to host Milton November 13th.

Essex wins again (Video)
The Essex Red Raiders won a second straight WECSSAA title beating Erie Migration 3-0. For the grade 12's it was their 4th straight title, including their junior days. Essex advances to host SWOSSA Thursday November 13th.

Lily Collins is player of the game as Saints advance
Victoria Walsh netted a pair of goals leading St. Clair to a 4-0 win over the Concordia Thunder at the CCAA women's soccer national championships. Talia Liburdi and Kaedence Ingram also scored for the Saints while Scotlyn Fick earned the clean sheet. St. Clair advances to the Bronze semi-final game Friday at 7:30pm. The Bronze medal game is set for Saturday at 2pm.

Records in sight
Spitfires goaltender Joey Costanzo has 80 wins. He needs six to tie and seven to break the career record set by Amherstburg's Michael DiPietro of 86 wins. Barring injury, Costanzo will also break DiPietro's team record of 157 games played between the pipes for the Spits. Costanzo has played in 143 games for Windsor as of November 5th, 2025. Costanzo is currently 10-2 with a 1.97 GAA and .912 save%. DiPietro is 5-0 with a 2.40 GAA in the AHL with the Providence Bruins.

St. Thomas rallies to down LaSalle
LaSalle Vipers jumped ahead in the 2nd with goals from Michael Cunha and Adriano Tonin, but the St. Thomas Stars stormed back in the 3rd, with Tyran Lawson (PP), Eloan Le Gallic, and Rory Savage (PP) sealing a thrilling comeback. Savage's goal came with 12 seconds left in the game. The Vipers drop to 7-10-2-0 while St. Thomas improves to 10-5-0-1

Leveling field for everyone
Windsor Minor Football is looking for support in their pursuit to encourage the City of Windsor to create a municipally owned turf field for the sports community, including football.

Vagnini honoured
For the second time in his coaching career Steve Vagnini has been named CCAA head coach of the year. Vagnini guided the women's team to a 7-0-3 first place finish during the regular season. The Saints earned the right to host the OCAA championship tournament and took full advantage by winning the title.


Hunter finds his groove with the Leamington Flyers

St. Joe's gets shot at sr. boys volleyball championship
The St. Joe's Lasers (9-1) swept St. Anne Tuesday night at home punching their ticket to the AAA final. They will face Sandwich who went 7-3 during the regular season and upset 8-2 Villanova in the semi-finals on the road beating the Wildcats 3-0. Lajeunesse will host the A final Thursday at 4:45 against Maranatha. The AA final is Thursday in Essex as the Raiders welcome the Erie Migration Coyotes.
